NOFD RESPONDS TO HOUSE FIRE

On Monday, May 26, 2025, at 12:27 a.m., the New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) was dispatched to 1733 Urquhart Street. Upon arrival, firefighters were confronted with a working fire in a single-family dwelling.  The first NOFD company arrived on the scene at 12:35 a.m.  A second alarm was requested at 12:39 a.m., and the fire was quickly placed under control at 12:53 a.m.  Its cause is currently being investigated.
